Jin Roh Kerberos Panzer Cop by Trezykx Jin Roh Kerberos Panzer Cop by Trezykx
(Thanks for the favs and please comment.)

This picture began as a simple deviant ID picture to match my former profile picture avatar. But I got carried away in the details and it became somthing entirely better than originally planned. I'm quite happy with how well it turned out.

Related works.

Thankyou! Actually that's an MG-34, the predecessor of the MG-42. and first light machine gun. It's a real beauty. The 42 is accuratly depicted in my other Jin-Ron pictures. :D

See the germans classed it as a LMB but it weighed more then most LMG's today. It also had a Ludicrous rate of fire for an LMG XD Its more of an MMG or an HMG.

Kill zone was based on it so its not so far from it. Though this was far from what todays typical anime has become.

I've never played it, but personally this more reminds me of Jin-Roh: Wolf brigade from the 1989 animated movie. long foggtten but a cult classic way ahead of its time with murderusly brutal shootouts. :iconfearmeplz:

Yes I know all about Australia, I watched Crocodile Hunter and Crocodile Dundee then wrote a paper on it. (and its not pronounced kangaroo, its a "wallaby"... er' I mean Wullabey') So what’s it like to have the term "Crocodile" in front of your first name and job title? I'd think that would get confusing after a while with everyone called crocodile. And the big knives would be a tad heavy to go on walkabout with, but useful to get into entertaining bar fights. I would visit the country if not for the fact you guys are all deported British criminals. Shame on you! :(

just because you saw the video does not mean you know what its like that guy was a bogan. and actually not all of us were criminals some people actually came here of their own free will like my ancestors they owned a carriage making company in england and then decided to move here in 1856.
we are not criminals anyway that was a long time ago.

Yeah I watch it roughly once a year. I love it even if its a bit dull in some scenes, the urban animation is spectacular and the gun fights of course are way out of control! :D

I believe that there's a feminine-looking bishounen-type guy in that suit instead of a bald mutant like a Helghan in Killzone franchise, now that's not so depressing after all.

Jin-Roh predate's the new fem-boys of todays anime. So he still looks like a regular guy. :D But yes, that a lot better than a opening the armor shell to find a white Darth Vader peanut head. :omg:

Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade. Its classifed under Anime, but is not typical anime style or nature. Its dark and slightly depressing, but the shootouts are brutal. [link]

Bitches and bitch-et's? Since a bitch is female, and adding "-et's" to the end of a word implies feminine, are you saying shame to all the females and the.....super females? Which one would I be?

1989? Damn son you're old :( (heeheehee)

But anyway....FUCK YEAH!!!!This is absolutely badass, it's convinced me out might actually have a small amount of talent in you :-P Is this really all digital, or is there some photomanipulation going on? It looks so realistic! I'm really impressed, even if I'm not too impressed by anything dealing with Killzone :-P
But seriously, awesome work!

No this is full digital, I use to do photo manipulations and found they take too long due to having to work on one layer like a painting, it makes lighting a real pain in the ass. Useing layers allows you to limit your painting to a single section of the picture, for instance, the armor, it moves much faster and has a better final product. The reason this appear so much different is Ive ditched the black lines and just worked with solid textureless mediums. its easy to mess with lighting onsmooth predictable surfaces like armor, where as with human faces and such, they catch the light in different contours. that is much harder.

Well I'm really impressed, the gun especially looks like it's a photo. It's amazing to see how far you've progressed in your skill in such a short period of time. If you ever become a professional I expect you to send me an original with your signature, so I can sell it for a hefty profit after I kill you....uh, I mean, after you die of old age, peacefully in your sleep!

But seriously, I can see you improve with each new piece you post, and I was already impressed with the first pieces I saw in the woods!

I'm a little bit of a gun nut and have been drawing them for years, it's only the Fantasy element in the wood that kept me from adding them to more pictures. As for the rapid rise in quality, that has one major factor, I quit doing ink lines, I realized they held me back on "Cure the sky" so it was the last picture to get them. Now its all done off of a quick pencil sketch to get the basic form and position. Then its refined as the painting progresses.
One thing I notced about Deviant art, if you don't put in the time the picture gets little attention. If you do, it gets hammered with so much attention you can't even bother thanking for fav's. So now I won't upload until it's reached the limit of my skill or patience. And it's not so much that I'm getting better, it's that I'm taking the time to make smooth straight lines, a blending the colors. The further I go the more patient it seems I'm becoming. Where I'm learning is in lighting. I'm doing multi directional and often mullet colored lighting. It's hard but fun. Next I'm going to be challenging myself to take on odd perspectives, rather than you common eye level perspective. Try doing birds eye or dogs eye level view. Really catch an different angle.

Oops, I almost forgot. the back wall was partially taken from a sample picture, and as expected it was more trouble than it was worth. Had I just done it myself it would have been faster and more allined with where the correct vanishing point should have been in the picture. Oh well, you live you learn, I tried to rush a picture to deadline and got a lot more work and a crappy result. I'm doing a new one that is totally original top to bottom and a real lighting challenge, its proving difficult to get right.

Its in the forming stages, it'll be near done come tomorow, I'm working with a mouse instead of my tablet, and i'm working on my note book type computer instead of my home unit. So the colors will have to be checked when I get home. I wont upload it until then. this little computer sucks for art, but its all there is to do right now. So it'll be a few days for me to get home.
